This is super early to talk about applying to nursing school for 2016, but it's always better to be well-prepared! Let's share some thoughts and help each other out!
I am re-applying to nursing schools as I did not get in last year, and planning to enroll to more courses for pre-reqs and to increase my GPA (I graduated with a B.A.)hopefully this year will be much better and with luck!!!!

Should I apply to more? Which one should I apply? I am super eager to enter the program and I failed once, failing twice is not allowed!

Has anyone been in touch with York to ask when their first batch of offers and rejections will go out? I've been trying to call today and haven't gotten an answer.
@beccanursing, i called them today too. the lady told me she does not have that information -_- i did ask her whether she has updated any 2nd entry nursing student's myfile to admitted yet but she said no. i guess we will just have to keep waiting until we start seeing people post them up here
They sent my conditional offer before receiving my final marks at the beginning of May (because my average was on the lower side). I don't know anyone else that got a conditional offer though, but many people were working/ in their Master's so it's hard to tell.
i was just wondering was your B+ GPA for the final year or was it your cGPA? thank you? also do they look at your third year GPA while you are in your fourth year or was that your fourth year gpa? thank you!
I'm probably really late for posting my stats this late.
I've applied to the Humber/UNB's second-entry nursing program. I emailed the staff in November 2015, and asked what a competitive GPA would be. It was a 3.4 at that time, and now I'm on the waiting-list with a 3.4 (for the last 20 credits). So I'm not sure what are my chances...I still have 4 more courses to go (semester ends in April).
Does anyone know what a competitive cGPA and 4th year GPA would be for York and Queen's accelerated nursing programs? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
No, I don't. I've seen that in previous years they start sending out acceptances right on the 1st (sooner some years), so I found it surprising that no one posted anything yesterday.
