This is super early to talk about applying to nursing school for 2016, but it's always better to be well-prepared! Let's share some thoughts and help each other out!
I am re-applying to nursing schools as I did not get in last year, and planning to enroll to more courses for pre-reqs and to increase my GPA (I graduated with a B.A.)hopefully this year will be much better and with luck!!!!

Should I apply to more? Which one should I apply? I am super eager to enter the program and I failed once, failing twice is not allowed!

Hi, I just received an acceptance email from Trent university into their compressed program, however my first choice is UWO.
I'm not sure what to do, If I delay Trent too much and not accept the offer soon enough do I miss my chance of going to Trent if I don't get into UWO? On the other hand if I do get into UWO I'm afraid that I will need to pay something to Trent or will have some kind of negative consequences.
if you applied through OUAC you can accept the offer and then when you get into UWO, you can just cancel the acceptance to Trent. You can always have one school on hold.
I will suggest just waiting for the UWO response if the acceptance date for Trent is far away. what is the last date to accept your offer by for trent?

I did apply through OUAC, I do not know when is the last date to accept the offer but I will definitely check.
Guys ! i need help, i am extremely stressed thinking of my chances of getting into a program. I applied to York, Mcmaster, Trent, western and lakehead my gpa is a 7.52 on a 9 scale What do you guys think how much of a chance I have? I spoke to the advisor at trent and she said the cut off is always normally at 79 percent.
If you have a 7.52 that is an A- correct? Im pretty sure you will get in if the cutoff is a 79! Did the advisor say it was a 79 in the last 10 credits or your entire cGPA?
hey thanks for the reply and yes she said it is 79 percent for the last 10 courses and I was not sure how to convert my 7.52 to a percentage since i know that 7 is a 70 and 8 is 80 so i was confused but thank you for replying that gives me some hope

Mac got back to me about the denied thing they said it was a mistake. It's because mosaic still has supplementary application listed as a requirement but it no longer is. Also my friend in the accelerated program at Mac said she thinks she received her acceptance either the last week of march or first week of April, right before exams! Could be different now though with the CASPer instead of supp app. I'm not sure if that would take a longer or shorter amount of time to go through.
