This is super early to talk about applying to nursing school for 2016, but it's always better to be well-prepared! Let's share some thoughts and help each other out!
I am re-applying to nursing schools as I did not get in last year, and planning to enroll to more courses for pre-reqs and to increase my GPA (I graduated with a B.A.)hopefully this year will be much better and with luck!!!!

Should I apply to more? Which one should I apply? I am super eager to enter the program and I failed once, failing twice is not allowed!

I don't know if anyone knows this but, HOW to offers get sent out? Is it through OUAC, e-mail, or each schools site? I applied to McMaster, UWO, Trent, Lakehead and York. I already got accepted to Trent and Lakehead on OUAC/e-mail/their sites but I'm wondering how Mac, UWO and York notify applicants first and approximately when? I realize the CASPer may change York and Mac's timeline from last year but still a general idea would be great I'm dying to know. My McMaster application on Mosaic student centre says denied but I think that's because they have supplementary application listed under requirements which the school no longer uses, so I'm thinking that's an admin error? Or I'm actually denied... I don't see anything on OUAC or my e-mail though.
I also now see a denied which I never saw before... It used to always just say pending or whatever. I guess that means we are denied... although I never received an e-mail. Maybe it would be best to e-mail/call and check-up?

I don't remember my exact GPA but my average was a B+. I had research, first aid volunteering, administration, volunteering at a children's playroom, I was part of a dance club and taught with them, I played intramurals and I worked in patient transport. I made up for my lower average by having a lot of patient care experience and great references.
Was that GPA your cumulative or for your last ten courses? This makes me feel a lot better thank you so much for posting this, although I still cant help but feel like I am not up to par. I know they only look at your last 10 courses, but do you think it would make a difference if I had a failing grade on my transcript from my second year? And my last semester has a mark that I'm not too pleased with, but do you think that would make a difference either? I volunteered at CAMH for 2 years and currently work there now, I'm an author on one of the papers, but that's about it for my extra curriculars..

Fkbes, so did I! I emailed them with my casper registration information that says I completed Casper test on 16th Feb.

Okay I just called them and they said there was a "miscommunication" which was sent out and they are writing up a new e-mail to everyone who it was sent to. However, when I asked them to confirm that they had received my supplementary application they couldn't do that either. They said as long as I have confirmation that I completed everything, we should be okay.... So basically just sit tight and wait for this other e-mail to go out.

I woke up with in a panic after reading that haha! I don't want to be denied for as minor of a reason as not submitting something! Yeah so I also called the nursing office and they confirmed that I wrote my CASPer, and everything else that was said by the registrar was repeated so I think we are okay :)
I think it was my last 10 courses. I don't think it would but I don't want to make any promises. As long as you have 76.5% then you'll be okay I think. Those are good EC! I know a lot of people didn't have as much as I did, I was just excessive in my EC. It's definitely scary not knowing, especially when following the forum and lots of people are getting in, that's why I posted haha
I'm a bit concerned now, did anyone receive an ACCEPTANCE from McMaster today? It would be quite unfair if they sent out acceptances on the same day they sent out rejections because of this mistake. I don't want to be excluded from the decision process because of their mistake.
