Heck I wished they only looked at the sGPA lol

When I applied in November they only specified that they looked at sGPA, not cGPA, so this change must be effective next year.

intake at York is based only on cGPA and that sGPA just like pre-requisites are there to determine if the applicant is eligible for the program. the way the girl explained it to me is that applicants are grouped and ranked based on their letter/number grades of the cGPA. So last pool intake was for people with cGPA above 7 or a B+

were those the cut offs for internal applicants only? or also for external ?

When I called the department, the lady said they take the highest GPAs from both internal/external. So I assume the B+ cut-off is for both groups.

Has anybody received an acceptance from york yet? My app still says "no decision yet" sighh

called York today they said cutoff for cGPA 6 or B and last 30 credits 7 or B+, decisions should be made by the end of June.

@want_to_get_in, thanks for the info! By any chance, do you know if that's for both internal & external? That would definitely help my case if it's open for both applicant pools lol.
