I know it's early, but let's get a thread going. 2015-hopefuls, share your thoughts, concerns, questions, and experiences here!
I got an email from u of t today and I couldn't be more excited!!!!I am still waiting for Mac and Nipissing but U of T only gives you 2 weeks to reply.
Do you think accepting one school prevents others from sending you an offer?
Congratulation. Please whats your CGPA , GPA and work experience like.

My CGPA for 4 years was only 3.1 (I did badly in my second year) and my GPA for last 10 credits were 3.6 (out of 4.0)
This past september i decided to take some extra courses/pre-requisites to raise my GPA
I currently work at a children's rehabilitation hospital and volunteer at a mental health hospital.
and thank you @smwxo !!

Congrats!
Is U of T your first choice? You can accept, it will not affect your other offers. However, U of T does ask for a $500 deposit upon accepting your offer, so you might want to hold out if it's not your first choice...
Does anyone know how competitive Nipissing is? I heard it is mostly all self learning and they lost their license in 2012. Anyone have any insight to the program?
Apparently they don't have too many seats, maybe under 50. It's not lecture-oriented, rather it follows a narrative pedagogy which involves working closely with a preceptor. This program is my first choice since it'll be possible for me to commute, hence save money. Hopefully we get interviews in the next week or so!

Do you think I have a good shot with having 75% in my best 10 courses? I do have a lot of volunteer experiences and I graduated in 2011 from UofT.
I hope so! I have around the same average and graduated from McMaster in 2012. I think you need a 70% for consideration, and then they look at your reference letter, personal essay, and interview. So they're considering a bunch of things other than your grades, which should be in our favor.

Great! Thanks. They take your highest so I'm just hoping the cut off isnt super high incase people with even higher GPA's take the spots.
