I know it's early, but let's get a thread going. 2015-hopefuls, share your thoughts, concerns, questions, and experiences here!
for everyone studying at uoft, are your transcripts with your final grades for this semester getting sent out on june 4th as well? I'm wondering if they could send them out earlier cause I'm pretty sure ill get all my grades by early may.
I'm currently at UofT and my marks are being sent in earlier (hopefully by the end of this month). In the past I've always put in a transcript request to "send immediately" as soon as all of my marks appear on ROSI which I will be doing again. I have been told that the date you mentioned appears if you have already put in a transcript request for which marks would be sent in at the end of the academic period which they consider to be June 4th (assuming you are also graduating this semester as that is what my ROSI notes). At least this is what the registrar told me, sorry if I made this more confusing!
Hi All,
New to this thread - thanks so much for posting such helpful information!
I'm trying to figure out the best way to tackle the full credit in physiology prerequisite for UofT (I have a B.A. in psychology) and am wondering if anyone has taken Athabaska's BIOL 230 (1.0 Physiology)? What was the course like - possible to complete it in 4.5 months?
Also, I did not take SCH4U (Grade 12 Chemistry) - does anyone have thoughts on whether schools will look down on a private school course (such as Blyth Academy) to fulfill this prereq?
Thanks!
Hey hopefulgal, I took BIOL 230. There is a lot of material to get through, but if you're pretty familiar with the content already (took grade 12 and first year bio or an anatomy course in university) it isn't too bad. There are 3 assignments, three exams and a big lab. It is time consuming, but not overly difficult. If you only have 4 months I would get started ASAP. feel free to e-mail me if you have more questions [email protected]

I'm also wondering about McMaster and waiting to hear back. I haven't heard anything at all and I'm not sure how my chances are, which is stressful because it is definitely my first choice.
