@future.R.N. - Unfortunately I'm not able to send you a private message back regarding BIOL 235 (I don't have enough posts yet), but I write my final in the first week of April, and cannot WAIT to be done. I don't know about you, but I find it so frustrating how the study guides contain so much information and then the exams only cover about 0.3% of what you learned for each chapter. And it's pretty much impossible to guess what the 0.3% will be haha. But just stick to learning the major topics, don't get too swamped with details, and you'll do great!

For those asking, my average was 11.8 on a 12.0 scale in my last two years of undergrad. I was accepted to Trent and Humber over the past 2 weeks, but am really hoping for UofT (which I understand won't offer any admissions for a while). So if I get in to UofT, those spots will free up! Although I have no outstanding prerequisites for Trent, I am still in the process of completing BIOL 235 (Anatomy & Physiology) through Athabasca University (which is required by Western, UofT, and Nipissing). Writing the final exam in a couple of weeks. Good luck to everyone else still struggling through that course, I know the feeling..... but we can do it!

I just (as in 20 minutes ago) received an offer from Trent, so they seem to be sending out offers now! I am really hoping to hear back from UofT or Western though. I spoke to someone from UofT a few weeks ago and they said that their largest round of acceptances happens in late May, and that all applicants will be informed of their status by June 30th no matter what. Hopefully that helps. Anyone know how Nipissing will reach out regarding possible interviews (i.e. will it be via email or through the Nipissing online portal only?) Good luck to everyone!

@blitzenbadger I'm currently taking that course as well and kind of worried for the final exam. Would you mind sharing your final grade in the course? I'm really hoping to get into Western and am not sure what ballpark my A&P grade should be in... Thanks!

Hi @Starry101! I have the same thing appearing on my myHumber page as well. And like you, I've surpassed the grade requirement, and Humber has received my transcripts (according to OntarioColleges.ca). I emailed the registrar and they said that it's taking them a while to update all of the myHumber accounts, and that should be corrected soon. Hope that helps!

Hi @futureR.N.! I feel your pain. It's definitely a slow process, but you'll make progress! The exams actually aren't too bad - they're all multiple choice, and very similar in structure/question type to the quizzes. I'd recommend you adhere closely to the study guide and be sure to know the diagrams in the book as textbook images are used in several questions. Best of luck!

Hi MatchaGreenTea, I am considering taking BIO 235 from Athabasca, and I wanted to know how it ended up going for you? How long did it take for you to complete, and how many hours per day did you spend on it? Did you have much of a science background, and did you find it difficult? Was it generally a hard or easy marking class? Thank you so much, I am so worried about trying to choose a physiology course to meet the UofT accelerated BScN prerequisite. I really appreciate any guidance you can offer.

Hi All, New to this thread - thanks so much for posting such helpful information! I'm trying to figure out the best way to tackle the full credit in physiology prerequisite for UofT (I have a B.A. in psychology) and am wondering if anyone has taken Athabaska's BIOL 230 (1.0 Physiology)? What was the course like - possible to complete it in 4.5 months? Also, I did not take SCH4U (Grade 12 Chemistry) - does anyone have thoughts on whether schools will look down on a private school course (such as Blyth Academy) to fulfill this prereq? Thanks!
