Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

I honestly was very quiet during my undergrad the first time around and I think it was because of how large the programs were, and my program didn't talk much to start. I am hoping to make more friends through this especially with people who have similar interests.
Same! Doing my undergrad as a commuter at U of T was not a great way to make friends ? I'm really excited for smaller classes and clinicals!
Hey guys, so I was recently accepted to York. Just wondering if anyone on here is at York now and what they think of the program? Also, does anyone know if we need to get CPR done for York because so far I have only gotten an email to book my enrolment appointment but I don't know if I am missing information.

Hey! I was just wondering when you heard back from york?
In regards to CPR, I would assume you would need it especially if you will have clinicals. You don't need to book it yet, but I would just be prepared to book it and start looking at places which offer its in July. I know with UofT they listed it as apart of our conditional offer and if its not completed by July 30th we will be withdrawn from the program.

I know nipissing updates when you accept other places. I don't think it would be fair for their admissions team to discriminate your application though as for example UofT won't send all theirs out until June. I think you should be okay, and if I was you I would accept it just in case!

Depends on where you got certified. Some certifications last 1 year some 3 years. You would most likely need to get the BLS certification (basic life support) as well. I think BLS is the minimum required certification level for working in hospitals! Not all CRP courses do the BLS so you have to ensure you have that! Don’t quote me I’m sure Queens will give more info!
Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! I'm a bit confused about when decisions are made about students who are completing pre-reqs in their final year of a 4-year undergrad degree. Does Bloomberg offer conditional offers or do they wait until final marks are received to make a decision?

I thought they'd wait for final grades to accept, but I am in my fourth year and finishing my Physiology requirement and I received an acceptance! It's a conditional offer so they require me to finish this course and want me to maintain a B+. So don't lose hope, good luck!

I saw it on the website from the school I'm attending RN so uoft's acorn website. If your school website has a transcript section you should be able to see the day it will be printed.
