Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

Don't believe that's true! I just finished my second year of PNB at Mac and I got accepted a couple weeks ago after initially getting declined! Just hang in there and you'll hear soon ?

Just checked my UofT application status, it says 'refused admission' instead of 'rejected'. Just want to ask is that the same thing as rejected?
Hey, I’m so sorry to hear. I applied to UofT’s PA program and was rejected, and it says “refused admission.” I hope this helps!
Do you mind sharing what your final year GPA was? Thank you in advance!

Oh, thank u, it just odd for me cause I heard they send the rejections at the end of June.I didn't expect to receive a rejection so early. LOL

So sorry to hear that, hope you got in somewhere else already. My application still hasn't changed yet. Did you check last Friday as well and just saw the change now or didn't check on Friday at all. Wondering if they are updating applications on other days now or it's still only on Fridays.

I checked it last Friday, it showed 'application received', I think it changed sometime this week. Maybe they just send admissions every Friday but rejections. I guess I will reapply next year, but you should definitely keep waiting, don't lose hope.

Yup trying not to, still have yet to hear back from 2 places and the third I'm wait-listed.
To everyone still pending at McMaster I spoke to student services just now to request an update on my application and they said that it looks like my application is “still under consideration”. However she did say that if I don’t hear anything back next week to email her at student services so that she can personally reach out to the admissions committee.

I'm not sure what my last two years GPA is since I did 5 years (switched programs) and my degree is from back home. It is probably a B+ to A-.
I wonder too. I'm offered a conditional; wonder what was the cutoff for the first round and why are there still lots of people pending as well.
