Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

I read somewhere on Reddit that that they gave these alternative offers out and then some people in the first week of fall term were accepted into the second entry program. So, I am wondering if that's what they would meant for you as well.
I believe its after a year, I might be wrong but from what I gathered its basically just taking another year to improve your marks and going through the same process of reapplying next year. I don't think its makes you more favourable being in that program! But yes, I also saw that on reddit, fingers crossed we get in a bit earlier than that LOL!
I know there are a few of us who applied to Western who have not received any status update (waitlisted, accepted, rejected) on their application; it simply states 'applied'. Although the school says you'll hear back by June 1, and now its June 15, I'm wondering if anyone had any insight on how they process applications given others who are waitlisted are being accepted?

I’d like some insight as well because I’m in the exact same boat.

It was from 519-661-2111, the caller ID said Western. I'd make sure to answer all your calls though! Rather accidentally pick up a scam call then miss your spot at Western

Congratulations!! I did this morning as well!
I'm caught between Western and Trent. May I ask why you chose to decline Trent? Also wondering if anyone could provide some insight to both programs as well? That would be super appreciated!

Would you take their HSci offer if all else doesn't work out? I got into the Ryerson 4 year program which is my backup so I am looking at my options right now, but still hoping for the best. Hopefully we both get in soon enough!

But I think it's just because they seemed to have gone away from calling it BLS/HCP and now most of the companies refer to the course as CPR Level C with AED. That's how I've interpreted it. I signed up for a blended course in Burlington since it's local for me, just got the link for the online portion of the course when this was posted.
Hi! What company did you end up going with? I've been having a hard time finding a course offered in burlington!

Super random, but did you pick up the call right away or did they leave a voicemail? I'm scared they might call and I won't be able to pick up asap ??
