Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

Also, I was wondering if anyone knows the specific date that all the waitlisted students should hear back by?

I emailed asking if there's a specific date and the admissions office said that they continue to call over the Summer when spaces become available. So there are no specific dates.

Thought I'd share with everyone waiting or wondering the same.

Thank you. I am in the same position as you, on the Western Waitlist and waiting has gotten me so freaking anxious. What's your %? I emailed them as well. They said there are different deadlines based on when offers are made so I guess a rolling basis throughout the Summer. Not losing too much hope YET since I think UofT is still sending offers until end of June. As people accept, that hopefully frees some spot up for people looking to get into Western.

Hey guys I got my offer at Western today so I'm no longer on the waitlist! I'm confused between choosing between this and York as I think York will be completely online while at Western labs will still resume. IDK if its worth going. Either way, a spot will open up at one of these for those on waitlist!

York won’t be online labs I was told.

Submitted my final grades to UofT a few days ago, and now I wait.. feeling a little hopeless, not going to lie. I hope everything works out. CONGRATS to everyone on their acceptances so far!

Me three.. but I am not going to defer my Nursing study, I ll take whatever comes my way . LOL. Anybody got waitlisted for UoT? I am not sure if they start sending it or not..

Me too! Don't give up hope! ? There are still two weeks and I do believe the majority of acceptances are sent out this month.

I think they send out the waitlist offers on the last day but I'm not 100% sure. Just because by then everyone who got an acceptance has had the chance to either accept or decline.
