Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

They sent out offers recently, the offers expired March 27.

Just emailed ****** about the offers. She said starting early April (I assume either this Friday or next week) they will send out randomly (they dont send out in batches apparently).

Also she directed me to this FAQ website https://bloomberg.nursing.utoronto.ca/coronavirus-updates/covid-19-undergrad-students

it mentions about the possibility of deferring the acceptance as many of us are considering it including myself.

Happy quarantine and hopefully we hear from them pretty soon

I believe from last years forum that your status does change at all. We would either get accepted or it will stay as received.

Terrifying ? does anyone know if they usually send out rejections before acceptances? Waiting impatiently.

I doubt it.. I think from last forum, they were all rejected after June, unless its an absolute Nono. This quarantine makes the waiting even more boring and anxious !

I think they sent out all rejections on the last day June 31st for previous years, but acceptances come in waves, and they kept sending out acceptance until June. Then you either get waitlist around end of June or get rejections. I am really worried too but I guess quiet means we still have hope!

UOFT’s application status never changed for me until I didn’t get accepted two years ago. I actually got rejected within a week of them sending out the acceptances. Was a bit surprised because I had a 3.94 GPA, coached swimming, volunteered at a gym and physio clinic for two years, and had a full time job all throughout my undergrad.
