Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

It's showing that I still need to complete the supplementary application (which I'm assuming is CASPer). I did CASPer a couple weeks ago and it shows my CASPer account that the score has been sent to the university. Could this may be because they haven't updated my account yet?

Don’t worry about it!! I’ve called like 4 times cuz I took my Casper in December and it still isn’t showing up. They said that they don’t update it until they review your application (so weird) but don’t worry, your app is complete!!

Hey I heard from York during the last week of February and was given until March 10th to accept/decline. So they will probably send out another round of offers after that date!

Did you have all your prereqs done already? Most of my prereqs are still in progress so I'm guessing il be hearing once all the exams and marks are done?

I completed majority of my prerequisites, and I’m currently finishing up one of them so it’s a conditional offer. I’m not sure but good luck! ?

Are you a current York student? Or are you applying from another school? I'm just wondering cuz I haven't heard of any internal applicants getting acceptances yet, so maybe they haven't started those

Yes I am! But I applied as an external applicant because I’ll be graduating this June. I’m not sure when York starts sending out offers to internal applicants, maybe contact them and see if they can give an estimate ?

Nope! I've also applied to McMaster and Queen's accelerated programs.

I still haven't heard from Western either. Does anyone know when they will start to send out offers of admission?
