Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2019

Hello Everyone,

I am currently a third year York University student hoping to apply for second entry nursing at York

only next year (yes I am going through the strike).

Since applications open in November, I thought it would be best to get this forum started. I am hoping to get more insight into the program and I hope current and past nursing students would share their views on the program and how job searching went. Also, what nursing specialties do most York nursing graduates enter as I am hoping to get into public health. Furthermore, share your insights on Humber, McMaster, U of T, Trent, Queens, Western, Ottawa and Nippissing. (I think that is all) and don't forget to include your acceptance GPAs.

Quick question about UofT. For those who are looking to get housing, do students ever connect beforehand to get an appartement together?

Thanks so much! ? And yes I did (still do technically since I have an exam tomorrow and am too excited to focus)! That's amazing that you went as well. What program were you in?

That's so funny I was just going to ask that. I need to find roommates! Preferably ones in nursing. I know no one going into this program.

Thank you!! That's funny I was in Health Studies and also did the business certificate! We could've had classes together.

Guys add me on Instagram or FB and we can all chat about the program and maybe even be roommates! Are we allowed to give that information out on here?
