I am currently a third year York University student hoping to apply for second entry nursing at York
only next year (yes I am going through the strike).
Since applications open in November, I thought it would be best to get this forum started. I am hoping to get more insight into the program and I hope current and past nursing students would share their views on the program and how job searching went. Also, what nursing specialties do most York nursing graduates enter as I am hoping to get into public health. Furthermore, share your insights on Humber, McMaster, U of T, Trent, Queens, Western, Ottawa and Nippissing. (I think that is all) and don't forget to include your acceptance GPAs.

When I spoke to them last the last round of offers they sent out have until tomorrow to accept and they said after that they will determine how many more acceptances to send out. So I would assume more would be coming this week sometime
Does anyone know if we have to pay anything like a deposit after accepting? I haven't seen anything or maybe I just don't know where to go. Is there a deadline I'm not aware of?

depends on the program, most of them have the deposit rules included in the admission letter or on the site for Next Steps! I think all of the second entry courses require a deposit by June or July to secure your spot so best to check the program.
Hi friends! ? I'm late to the party but congrats to everyone who have gotten accepted so far!
I just got accepted a couple hours ago! I am beyond overwhelmed with joy because I definitely did not see this coming.. At all. This application process has taught me that marks do not matter as much as you think. Your supplementary application, extracurriculars, and references mean a lot, too!
