I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?
Good luck to all!
Has anyone created a Queens Facebook group yet?I've pretty much given up on western because my school takes years to update marks
I have gotten into every other school I have applied to but Western is my first choice and I am in the same boat, my grades wont be finalized until the end of May so pretty sure they won't be in on time. It really upsets me

I'll be starting the Western compressed program in September, and I currently go to Western, so I've talked a lot to the CTF nursing advisor. I wouldn't worry too much! I was told that the bulk of acceptances do go out at the end of May, but there will still be some waitlist spots (there were last year anyway). She said some people got off the waitlist as late as August! If your grades are competitive I see no reason why you don't have a shot even if your marks come in late!
Hey everyone! Congrats to all that have been accepted, and to those that are still waiting don't lose hope :)
I have been accepted to Trent, however, Western is my #1 pick. I only have an 81% average in my last two years of university which I know is on the lower end. Does anybody know if Western typically accepts within this range? I have accepted the fact that I will most likely be heading to Trent but I still have a little hope for some reason.

I have the exact same average as you
I've heard it depends on the year but honestly anything can happen on the waitlist, I've heard 80-81 getting acceptance in June or so
I'm waiting as well, good luck
Also, Trent is still a great school and you still end up with a BScN :)
