  1. Just wondering what your alternate offer was?
  2. Hahaha im sorry im probably so annoying on here always writing about this! My average is only an 80 in my last 2 years :/ I know people have been accepted with that and lower but the fact I haven't yet makes me wonder about my casper...
  3. Im still waiting on trent! I applied for both compressed and 4 year! waiting sucks ive kinda given up hope but would still like answer. Seems like they have been sending out acceptances daily. Has anyone got a rejection from trent yet?
  4. Hello! Just saw this now. Thanks for taking the time to write that out I really enjoyed reading it. So i went to trent for my bachelor's of science already. Im hoping because i have prior experience as a student at the university level I can do well in this program :) im still waiting to hear back from trent for the compressed program - but if not admitted im definitely going to be attending Fleming!!! I was thinking about possible briding options for the future too, depending where my life takes me. Where have you decided to do your bridging ?? Thanks in advance
  5. Hey super random... Just wondering if you are an osap borrower like myself and are feeling stressed about the debt from 1 degree and potentially another?
  6. Wow that's soooo late as if lol. Thanks very much for all your help :)
  7. Ahhhhh thank you! I can only hope. What average were you accepted with if you don't mind me asking :)
  8. Is anyone else still waiting on trent? If I haven't heard anything yet should I just assume I'm not accepted?? I would just like an answer
  9. You're welcome! This is probably a bias opinion, but I know the Georgian/York collab is an awesome school! My home town is close to Georgian in barrie and its a really nice campus. I have a ton of friends that went there and even worked there and they loved it! Overall, I've heard York is awesome too. In terms of the city and campus I think that program would be better than Pembroke. I don't know much about Pembroke but its a smaller town outside of Ottawa and I would imagine they have a smaller campus as well. Im still interested in attending their because my boyfriend wants to move to Ottawa so at least we would be closer. My high school marks were all good except for my math so i don't meet the requirements for Georgians program. Good luck in school!
  10. Hey! Congrats on getting accepted. Nursing is super competitive so you should be proud of yourself :) I think if you put the work in - it's completely doable. I have a university degree and I can honestly say it can be challenging at points but as the 4 years go on you figure out the best ways to succeed, ie. How much time you need to devote to things, study habits etc. I think you should def go for RN. Not that theres anything wrong with RPN but RNs are able to do more things and you do have more career opportunities! I know this because I have friends that are RPNs and RNs. Also the pay difference between them is a big factor - as an RN you will receive more pay increases the longer you work whereas, RPNs have a salary cap. Just something to consider. Do you mind me asking what your average was? Im waiting to hear back from Pembroke :)
  11. Whats your averagr in your last 2 years??? Most schools will send out alternates automatically. They just want people to come to their school!
  12. I sure hope so... Exactly! And I still cringe about some of my answers to the questions...Nice! I'm so excited for you :)
  13. Oh my gosh thats my GPA too! This gives me some hope... I look at the portal all the time but it still says they are evaluating my application.. I don't think I did very good on casper but its hard to say. What did you do your undergrad in if you don't mind me asking?
  14. Congrats!!! I'm an internal applicant as well but still haven't heard anything . What does that GPA convert to in %? How did you feel your casper went?
  15. Congrats! What was your gpa in your last 2 years if you don't mind me asking :)
