Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2018

I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?

For those of you who have been accepted to Trent, how long did it take to receive your admissions package in the mail? I was accepted almost 3 weeks ago and I'm surprised it's still not here

Hey guys, I really need some help! After I accept my UofT offer on the joinID page, where can I see this confirmation? Will it appear on ACORN or something? Also how long did it take for you to see the confirmation somewhere? Thanks so much

I was accepted to York and Trent yesterday.

I am going to accept my offer to Trent. Like a few other people, I cant seem to find the facebook group for it at all. I searched "Trent University-Compressed Nursing 2018-2020" as suggested. Is there still a group? It would be great to chat with some future class mates before the program starts.

Congrats. Out of curiosity, why did you choose Trent over York?

Thanks! I chose Trent because my husband is also starting RPN at Fleming in Sep and we want to stay close together.

Also, I dont know too much about the York program but I like that Trent recognizes some transfer credits whereas York doesnt. Im guessing they are pretty similar programs though.

I couldn't find it initially either but try just searching "Trent compressed nursing" and you should see it :)

I've pretty much given up on western because my school takes years to update marks :(
