Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2018

World Canada CA Programs

Published

I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?

Good luck to all!

Hey! I'm trying to search the group you made on FB but can't seem to find it. Would love to join as I'll be going into the compressed program this September!

Sorry, this was for @NurseAshleigh18 regarding the Trent Compressed Nursing 2018 FB page

Is there already a York nursing group?

Yes! It was made by the university, its called "York University Second Entry Nursing, Class of 2020"

Hey! It's Trent University-Compressed Nursing 2018-2020. If you still have no luck search compressed nursing and several groups will pop up :)

hey guys! I'm really hoping to get into Western, but also received the deferral notice. I'm super nervous, do you think if our marks were consistent with the previous semester we'll still get in? Basically, what are our chances of getting in?

I looked a before and didn't see any yet.

Fellow Queen's friends

I got an email saying that an information package will be sent out to your QUEENS EMAIL at the end of June regarding CPR, police checks, uniforms, etc

Best of luck to everyone still waiting for offers, don't give up

I still haven't gotten that email! Also, where do we find our Queen's email? I don't recall getting an ID for that yet

Hey guys, 5 days ago I asked OUAC to take my final transcript from ryerson but I haven't seen any update on my UofT portal. Does anyone know how long it usually takes? Although I have no hope for UofT. My status is still "application received".:(

it usually takes 3-5 business days to get updated. I know mine arrived around that time frame. Maybe you could request again to send it immediately. And don't give up I'm sure there's still time and hope.
