I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?
Good luck to all!
I got accepted into Humber yesterday as well! It was only on MyHumber, and updated onto ontariocolleges this morning. I didn't receive an email. I'm so happy because Humber and UOFT are my top choices. Can anyone give me insight on the Humber program? Or if I can get exempt from classes in the prep semester - I have stats, microbiology, anatomy and psych at Dal.
As for my GPA, my last two years on the 4.0 was 3.54, last year was 3.93 and overall was 3.3.
On the 4.3 (which is what humber uses) I believe my last two years was 3.62, last year was 4.16 and overall was 3.37.

Hey Britdal! Approximately a week after I got into the Humber second entry program I got an e-mail from them saying which credits of mine were transferred over and I only have to take three prep courses now!
Hey everyone,
I have a Nipissing interview this Monday at 11:30 and I'm starting to panic a little bit. Aside from the 3 minute narrative inquiry discussion, what else can I expect? What kinds of questions are they going to ask? I've never had a healthcare program interview before so I have no idea what more I can do to prep. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers!
Hey! Join my Nipissing thread we are talking about stuff there :) https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/nipissing-spp-2018-a-1144237-page7.html#post9756441
Hi Everyone!
This my first time posting on this forum. However I applied to compressed nursing programs last year and was waitlisted but never got off the waitlist. I graduated from UOIT with a BHSc specializing in public health. And I'm currently in my post grad certificate program for gerontology. This year I only appplied to schools Trent and Lakehead. And I just got accepted to Lakehead on a conditional and still waiting to hear back from Trent. Good luck everyone!
