  1. Is there a facebook group for the MN-NP Program at UofT? If there is can someone send the link to it here?
  2. This is for the MN-NP Program. I was admitted on March 10th. I haven't received a scholarship yet, hoping to get some good news next week!
  3. I heard back from UofT about scholarships today. Apparently they already send out one round of scholarships and are planning to send out another by the end of next week.
  4. I haven't heard anything yet either. I also e-mailed last week and no reply yet.
  5. My admission letter also said end of March. I sent a followup email to them yesterday but I haven't heard back yet.
  6. I haven't heard back either, I guess by Monday? I wanted to hear back before the decision deadline.
  7. I had asked the admissions office about this as well and this was the response I received from them: "Yes, you must have all your required documents (including references) submitted by Jan 15, 2025 so be sure to let your referees aware of this deadline too. If they are late by a few days that's okay, but definitely ask them to aim for Jan 15."
  8. I haven't hard from UofT awards/scholarships yet. I am hoping we hear back from them soon because the program is quite expensive.
  9. Just received my UofT acceptance today as well! I got the e-mail at 12:34 to check my portal. I went to UofT's nursing program, 4.0 GPA, about 3 years of experience as an oncology nurse. Still waiting to hear back about scholarships and awards. Good luck to everyone!! ?
  10. Good luck everyone! ?
  11. I applied to UofT for Fall 2025 ?
  12. Hey! My GPA was 3.7 on the 4.0 scale for the Humber second entry program.
  13. Hey Britdal! Approximately a week after I got into the Humber second entry program I got an e-mail from them saying which credits of mine were transferred over and I only have to take three prep courses now!
  14. Just so you know, the second entry nursing program at Humber is not even open to international applicants. So I'm not really sure how their program is "catered" towards international students. You also need to consider that this program is one of the only options for people that haven't taken prerequisite courses, which is why they require students to obtain a 74% in their courses during the prep term. I also wouldn't really consider this a loophole, any nursing school you go to in Ontario will require you to maintain a minimum GPA (or minimum grade in each course). I'm not sure why you shed such a negative light on Humber but there are many benefits of going to Humber from what I've heard.
  15. Hey! I think the OMSAS Scale is the standard GPA scale used in Ontario (OMSAS - Undergraduate Grading System Conversion Table | Ontario Universities' Application Centre). The percentage to GPA/ letter grade conversion is different depending on the school. So I'm not too sure how it would work for your case, but it gives you a general idea of the GPA conversions.
