Ontario BScN Accelerated Program Fall 2022

Updated:   Published

Hello future nursing students,

I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.

To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.

How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together

Congrats on your offer! Did you receive a call or an email from Nipissing?

Thank you!

I got an email telling me there was a spot available and you only have 2 days to respond otherwise they assume you are not interested.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know to check your student portals, I just got an offer from Western ? that will open up a spot at Mac for someone waiting on it as well!

Does anyone know if there's a group chat started for uwo?

Goodluck and congrats everyone!

^^ Same here.. I got into WESTERN as well! Check your portals everyone!

Is there any group chat for Western? Thank you!

I also just got an offer from Western!

I got waitlisted for Western. Does anyone know if Western provides any information on where you stand on the waitlist?

I checked my Western portal and mine still says Applied…it hasn’t been updated. Do I assume that I didn’t get in or do we think that they’re still going through the list?

I was waitlisted a few years ago, and they do not tell you what your rank is ?

Hey has anyone heard back from UofT? Are they done handing out offers?

Hey guys! I was just accepted into Western’s CTF Nursing (I had an 89.65 average for this year and an 87.5 average for this year and last year combined). I was just curious if anyone knows if it’s still possible to have a job and do this program? I still have to be able to pay rent/groceries, but I have heard some people say that it’s hard to be involved in anything other than these programs when in them. Thanks for the help!

Hey everyone! I got my offer to Western this morning through their student portal. Is anyone’s offer showing up on OUAC yet? Mine isn’t and was just wondering if anyone knew when we can expect to be able to accept!

Mine hasn't either! It has taken a day or two to update on there for my other offers so I'm assuming it's the same for this ?

I also got an offer to western today but I have already accepted Nipissing SPP. I don’t know if it’s worth it to do 5 months less of school and to move to London. How is everyone weighing their options?
