I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
Hey everyone! UofT applicant here ? My application status is still in "received" status and I am starting to lose hope. My GPA in my last 5.0 credits is 3.75, and I have extensive clinical research experience in the field of maternal & child health. My extra circular profile is strong, and all of my prerequisite courses are above a B+.
I am an out-of-province applicant, and I feel like this is a major disadvantage. I've completed my BSc this Spring, and I've been admitted to a MSc of Public Health. Should I give up hope for UofT nursing? Do I even stand a chance?

Hi, you have good stats and it appears that you’re a well-rounded student. Provided your supplementary essays were good, you do stand a chance. Don’t lose hope, my friend. And there’ll be more acceptances coming up since some people will probably withdraw their acceptances on June 1st. Good luck!
