Hello future nursing students,
I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together

Do you mind letting me know if its acceptable to submit a course grade by June 20th? The conditional offer states July 15th for final transcripts to be in, so I should be okay right?
I am but it’s for an outstanding course that’s a graduation requirement. I think it’s fine since it’s a while before July 15th but I did email them and have yet to get a response

Thanks for the reply! Same emailed them over a week ago and still waiting for response. Another offer for me also expires same time as uoft's so ahhhh

I know for sure Nipissing has already sent out offers, it seems like a lot of the schools are releasing more offers sooner than they did last year

based on previous years it seems that mac and western usually send out offers the first week of may

Mac hasn't done any at all yet and usually doesn't most years until early/mid-May. Western did a select few in early March but does the bulk in May I believe. Queens is hard to tell. I applied to Queens last year and was waitlisted by April 10th (never got off the waitlist). I think someone a couple of weeks back said they got into Queens but in general you may not "hear" as much within this group because queen's cohort is only 48, compared to the 120-200 of basically every other school.

I've heard back from Western, Trent, U of T, Queens, and York! Trent, Queens, and York decisions seem to be trickling out every so often, but as far as I know there was only one Western round and two U of T rounds so far.

Hey everyone! I decided to withdraw my applications this year due to unforeseen circumstances with the intent of applying for the next admission cycle. ? I haven't posted on here in a while, but I just wanted to congratulate those who have been accepted so far and wish the rest of you good luck in the upcoming weeks. ?

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing. Haven't seen this one. Mine also shows everything as pending, but I have loaded everything into this (https://admissions.mcmaster.ca/apply/status) portal, so it should be fine.
