I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
Just checked mine as I am also completing a prereq, nothing changed for me. Still just says "applied"
Actually, I got confused - I’m not competing a prereq for this program at the moment but am currently enrolled in a graduate degree (maybe has something to do with that IDK).

Mine changed too. It says "Upload an official transcript showing final grades from the current academic year at the university or college you are currently attending." I'm guessing it's because I'm completing my prereqs as well as my degree RN?
It also says "Nursing Defer for Final TRX"? Does anyone know what this means?
has anyone received their paper copy of letter offer from trent in the mail? I still haven’t so I have no idea what the conditions are or when deposits are due.

it says that for me too, I just completed my prereq but I haven't got my grade back. I'm very confused, cause they already received my official transcript IDK If I should wait till my grades get released and then send it or just send it right now. What are you guys doing?

I would wait until you get a grade because that’s what they’re probably looking for

I am! I'm from out of province (BC). On my OUAC, it already says I missed the deadline in responding back to Trent tho. I think the date deposits/accepting offer depends on when you were offered a spot.

oh thanks for letting me know! thankfully I got an email about it and was able to check ouac in time. I just find it odd my paper mail still hasn’t arrived and I’m from the GTA. ?

I have not received my offer package yet either outlining the conditions. I emailed and called the admissions office, wondering if an extension would be possible since I've had zero time to actually consider the details of the offer. They basically told me they have no control over how long Canada Post takes to deliver, and that an extension would not be possible, however that my conditions were essentially just completion of current courses, and keeping the minimum grade requirements. My acceptance deadline is Apr. 25th, so I'm still holding out hope that I'll receive it in time, but it's been nearly 3 weeks since I got the official email.
