Hello future nursing students,
I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together

I emailed and called the admissions office, wondering if an extension would be possible since I've had zero time to actually consider the details of the offer. They basically told me they have no control over how long Canada Post takes to deliver, and that an extension would not be possible, however that my conditions were essentially just completion of current courses, and keeping the minimum grade requirements. My acceptance deadline is Apr. 25th, so I'm still holding out hope that I'll receive it in time, but it's been nearly 3 weeks since I got the official email.
ahh, I see there’s no point in waiting for them to reply to me either. my deadline is also on the 25th! did they mention anything about deposit deadlines? I wonder why they didn’t just upload a pdf copy on our portal ? so many schools do that nowadays.

They did not mention anything about the deposit deadline unfortunately. I can reach out and ask. Having everything online instead of relying on the mail system is definitely ideal! I've even reached out to Canada Post to see if there's been issue with my mail delivery LOL.

Hey! I will be attending UofT this coming fall and would love to join this facebook group or any other group to meet some fellow nursing students! This link doesn't seem to be working for me, is there another option maybe?

I emailed and received a reply back already from the admissions coordinator I was speaking with. There is no acceptance fee, so you won't need to worry about a deposit deadline for Trent, and final transcripts are not due until August 15th. That's positive!
thank you so much for all your responses! it really helps when an admission coordinator has already responded rather than the email floating around until someone gets to it. are you considering trent up in your list? I'm still waiting for others ahhh

I believe it might be coming around 5-5:30pm? from what I've seen from earlier posts!

"On condition that each of your outstanding courses is completed with at least 60% (C-)."
Does this refer to pre-req courses still being completed or any Winter 2022 courses being completed?
Did you have different conditions before?
