Hello future nursing students,
I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
Hi everyone, I got accepted to U of T, but I am waiting on hearing back from Mac and Western as well. I see that U of T needs a $500 deposit, but it must be submitted by June 1st. Can I accept the U of T offer and not pay, until I hopefully hear back from the other schools? Or will this somehow impact my U of T offer (in the chance that I don't get accepted to either of the other 2 schools and then I would be left with nothing)?

Pretty sure you can - but be careful because these payments take time to be processed by your bank and also potentially further by the university. If I were you, I’d do it 5-10 business days before the deadline.

I just found this forum. Not sure if I’m in the right place but I applied to the compressed RN program at Western for the fall start. I applied as an RPN since this is the first year it has been offered as a bridging program for RPNs. Anyone else in the same boat as me? Or could someone direct me to the correct group/forum I should be in?
thanks in advance!
Just took a quick glance at the curriculum and it seems identical to the non-RPN CTF stream! Congrats on your admission!

I'm not sure about western but mac doesnt look at your Winter grades to calculate your average
Hello,
I have just received my grades for Winter 2022 and was wondering how I go about uploading them for York? I currently only have an unofficial transcript so I am unsure with how that can be sent through OUAC. MyFile does not have an option for me to upload any transcripts. If anyone here knows what to do, please let me know.
Thank you so much!
Hi everyone I just found this forum, I accepted my offer to the Nipissing SPP program today, I’m looking to connect with other future students from this admissions cycle! There’s a facebook page for Nipissing SPP class of 2024 already if anyone has questions about their offer or the program!
