Was looking into an online LPN to RN program. I thought about Excelsior but they require hands on nursing that is recent and because I do Utilization Review I am not currently doing hands on nursing. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Indiana State University has a program. Those are the only two I am aware of.
Online University | Online Degree Programs | WGU has a pre-licensure BSN program in five states that is suitable for working LPNs.
Thanks! I know I have found some for BSN but gearing more toward ASN at this time. I will check those out though as it's something to think about! :)

The two big players in online nursing education for LPN-to-RN transition programs are Indiana State Univ (LPN to BSN) and Excelsior College (LPN to ASN).
Both programs require a face to face clinical practicum component.

Don't all online programs have a clinical component at some point?
Yes. (Pre-licensure)
Meanwhile, many post-licensure online programs (e.g., RN-to-BSN, BSN-to-MSN, MSN-to-PhD) do not have any clinical component whatsoever.
Do all LPN to RN online programs have clinical components?
Sorry, just thought I'd clarify.
Any ideas on best overall LPN-RN online programs.

You would have to check applicability and acceptance in your state.
