On vacation..can't stop studying!

Published

I've been on summer vacation less than 2 weeks and already feel I should be studying. Granted, I will start studing hard core before class, but, I'm finding it hard to even take a month off the books. Anyone else feel this way?

I finished Pre-Nursing in late April, and didn't do anything until yesterday! I couldn't make myself do anything for 48 days! I was sleeping, eating and playing PS3 like crazy. lol.:D I'm starting NS in Sept, so now I'm just starting reviewing all the A&P and math. I also got the 2500 page:eek: Med-Surg book we're going to use, and "getting to know it a bit" before school. I don't know yet what other books we'll need, they didn't finalize the book list yet .

As of today there's still 88 days left until NS starts, so plenty of time to review all the A&P over and over, system by system, chapter by chapter, I have it all planned out, I'll make study time 2-3 hours/day. :)

Now if I could only get myself to exercise at least for an hour a day, 'cause I wanted to loose some weight and be more fit before Sept, it would be nice... but I'm so lazy when it comes to this... sooooo lazyyyyyyyyy    heeeelp :crying2:

No one can make me exercise... not even my physical therapist... I'll study all you want but nothing more, lol. I think I am going to get really fat in NS.

I've got 72 days until classes start and I'll freely admit to having a textbook or three on my bedside table. We actually have reading assignments from orientation, so it's not like I'm super geeking out, right? RIGHT??

I signed up for a gym class. If there's a credit or a grade attached, I'll do it. Otherwise, not so much.

My plan was to go to the gym, I haven't yet lol. I still have nearly three months to go so I still have plenty of time. Sept will be my first semester in NS and it makes me upset Orientation isn't until Sept 1st -_-

I used online flashcards to help me study med term so it's not really that much work. I'm going to do the same for A&P and Micro but other than that no crazy studying.

BEEN THERE. If you are truly overdoing it the only thing that worked for me was mailing my books to my mom. I knew I would be seeing her before my semester started and could retrieve them. I have also held books at my home for OCD friends :)

I got the Med-Surg textbook that I will be using next semester from the library. The instructor for the class was kind enough to email the schedule because 95% of people who are taking Med-Surg are OCD like me. I managed to get through the first unit we'll be doing but haven't read any more. Honestly, I feel lost. It's been a month since summer break started and I have no idea what to do with myself. I got a guitar for my birthday and I'm slowly learning how to play. I'm also reading a lot, but that only goes so far. I guess I'm not used to low stress levels anymore.
