i want to tell everybody do not give up. i am proof that god will never let you fail. he will never give up on you, if you don't give up on him. i applied to 5 schools. letter after letter... i kept reading "we're sorry to inform you" and one letter even told me to change my major. i starting losing faith, but i kept praying. right before my mom went into the post office, i prayed to god and said god please let me have this and i won't fail you. i want to thank everybody who has supported me through this process. lol this sounds like an acceptance and in a way it is =) if nursing is what you want, keep going for it. don't give up. i will be attending midwestern state university for the fall 2009 bsn program!!!!!!!
please do you know if i can still get admitted for spring 2011. Ms ***** said so people can still get disqualify and some people might not show up and they will have to go down the waiting list. do you know if its possible and have you ever heard of anyone getting accepted after orientation?
Yes there was like a group of people in the class below me who got accepted after orientation, and one in my class too. Anything is possible. I do know that people do get called in off the waiting list. What number are you on the list? If you dont know ****** will tell you.
I was just reading your sorority thread on the main forum. How is nursing school, motherhood, and the sorority life going? Have you found an area of nursing which interests you specifically?
Hi Horseshoe,
This last two years have actually been better than I thought. There have been some downs, but I'm making it. I still have my son living with me and my family is REALLY supportive, they come and get him if I need time off. I haven't joined my sorority yet because they actually have not had no intake for memberships, so that's been a little stress off of me. I'm still the VP of my nursing organziation, and by the Grace of God I will be graduating this December. Thanks for checking out and looking out for me :) I work at the local hospital in the ER as a tech, and that is the specialty I am leaning towards.

Hi Alum08,

It was hard but kinda loved it coz i got used to it and dealt with it. The good thing the classes at MSU ends Thursdays n i would head right to Dallas after classes, i woked Thursdays nights. When u get used to it you dont even see hour the 2 hours fly by. U will be suprised how many pple commute lots of pple in my class were commuters espe. from Dallas and others 1hour away, so u will do it have determination.
