I just took my boards today. The computer stopped at 75 questions. Did the PVT and got the Good Popup. I had so many SATA questions, Infection control and who would I see first type questions. I want celebrate till its offically says I passed. Because this is my third time to take the boards but the other 2 times it went straight to credit card page so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I will know Sunday.... :balloons:

CaliforniaRNnow 185 Posts Jun 11, 2011 Dude, I got a crapload of select-all-that-apply questions, too!!! I was like, "OMG STOP IT." I got 80 questions. I wanna say that SATA questions were about 1/4 of my test!!! I didn't even get any other kind of alternative style question! No math either. I wanted a lot of math though because I'm good at it. Maybe math is too easy of a question.

I will know Sunday.... :balloons:Your test sounds just like mine!! My whole test was basically which patient would you see first and a TON of infection control!! But I got the good pop up too so I'm praying that we both passed! Congrats :)
GOODNESS36 4 Posts Jun 11, 2011 I understand I only got one put in order and it was removing sutures but had no pedi or math I thought I was doing bad because of the SATA that I was getting I think I got 4 in row once than skip a few questions than more. the infection control questions where easier this time around...I am so glad that I studied the posting about infection control SPIDERMAN, it helped a lot

My computer shut off at 75 and it was ALL multiple choice and SATA. No math, no audio, no figures, no pediatrics, no maternity...it was all psych and med/surg which is great because those are my best areas. So happy to have it all over with but what the heck am I going to do with all my free time now?

I honestly think about half of them were SATA, one calculation and 2 of the ones where you have to order them in the correct order. The first like 15 questions were multiple choice and I felt like I got nearly all of them correct, so I'm hoping that's why it started giving me tons of SATA, but I don't really know. I got a positive PVT so I hope I passed, but I'll just have to wait and see!
pruili01 6 Posts Jul 2, 2011 congrats to all!what resources did you all use?Well I still don't know for sure if I passed, but I would Kaplan is the way to go. The class helps a lot and they give you TONS of practice questions and content review videos to use.
