  1. Princeton (which is in the Baptist Health System with Shelby) starts their new grads out at 19.56 an hour I believe.
  2. Hi everyone! I am a recent RN graduate and just accepted my first RN position on a Medical/Oncology unit! I am very excited because Oncology has always been an interest of mine and I am thrilled to begin this job! I feel that I have a pretty good knowledge base of cancer and I am also familiar from caring for patients palliative from the 1.5 years I worked in the nursing home as an LPN caring for hospice patients, most of which had cancer. I am wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom or advice they'd be willing to give me? It'd be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  3. The trick works and I am officially I am a licensed REGISTERED NURSE!!!! This completely made my day. I've been an LPN for 2 years and worked my tail off to finally get to this point. I'm so happy!! Congrats to all of you!
  4. Thank you!! I didn't do any review courses I just used Saunder/Silvestri and went through and answered about 250 questions a day and reviewed all the content starting with my weaker areas. I hope it payed off!
  5. I know, I hate SATAs! But congrats to you too, I hope we both get our official results soon so we both officially be RNs. Congrats!!
  6. Your test sounds just like mine!! My whole test was basically which patient would you see first and a TON of infection control!! But I got the good pop up too so I'm praying that we both passed! Congrats :)
  7. So I took NCLEX-RN today and it was really tough. It cut off at 85 questions and I had a lot of SATAs, I walked out of there feeling defeated and I got home and tried the pearson trick and this is the message I got... "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time" I know it's not official until I get it from the BON but does it sound like I passed? I REALLY hope so!!
