Don't let ice packs leave the office. Snowflake will not want to miss out on the fun of field day (and the awe of the other students who admire their ice pack) and will quickly ask to return to the festivities
Yeah this have always been my number 1 rule of the clinic ice packs are not allowed to leave health clinic

2 months ago I put in for a day off in June. Our field day was just rescheduled for that day. Bonus!!

SO, consider yourself lucky, for our field day, since we are an inner city school, we dont have any fields at my school (we have a very crooked small blacktop area) WE TAKE A SCHOOL BUS TO A FIELD a few streets over and I have to relocate my entire office that day! I wish we had a field! This is way more work for me!! But I have it down after doing it for years: I have a cooler on wheels with a large bag of ice, and zip lock baggies, I have a plastic tub for all the inhalers, my backpack for all the bandaids and emergency stuff, and a nice comfy camp chair for myself! I also drive over the field, so much easier!

I will help GoFundYou for one of those little portable awnings that you secure to the ground with four posts.
THANK YOU! LOL

Ours is on the students' last day of school (6/22). They get to leave straight from field day at 1:15. I am praying it rains and they can all just have an inside day and go home.

WIN for me! Field days were both postponed because of rain. It was supposed to be yesterday and today. They got moved to next Tuesday and Wednesday. My last day just happens to be Friday so I will not be here. Will make sure the freezer is full of ice for them but they can handle it themselves!

Had a fellow nurse call in sick. I walked in to her school to cover her diabetics and found out it was Field Day. Oh joyous day. NOT! I wish she would have texted me a heads up.
