It was the last day to do it, but I OFFICIALLY SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION TO OHSU!!!! ?
Anyone else applying for this cohort?
A little about me: I am an older, non-traditional student, single Mama with 8 and 13 year old boys! I currently hold a BA in Psych. I wanted to apply to the ABSN, however, my Statistics class is over 7 years old, and it was also a C. ? I will just have to retake it, if I end up needing to apply next year. This is also my very first application cycle. ?
I feel like OHSU is definitely my top choice, but I will also be applying to Linfield, and possibly Concordia (only because they have an accelerated program, and seem to offer more start dates.
Now the waiting begins!!!! ? ?

OHSU Monmouth
PCC
LBCC
Every email is triggering anxiety. Anyone hear news from PCC?
I’ve only applied to OHSU, so far. I will apply to CCC next cycle if I don’t get in. I will also apply to Linfield and Concordia, however waiting to hear from OHSU, as I’d rather not take other pre-reqs if I don’t have to.

Also, anyone know nurses who went through the program I could talk to?
Did they send you the interview prep packet? They sent me a whole information packet via email with questions you should practice and how to dress and what not to do.

No, I didn't get an information packet and live in California so I couldn't go to the mock interview... did you receive a packet? Can you send it to me via email?
I'm so nervous!!! I know I just have to be genuine, and either way it will be a good experience. A proctored essay makes me a bit nervous too. I have no idea what they'll ask or if its hand written or typed? A guess the more info I have on what to expect for the interview, the better I'll feel!

From what I know about Portland, the essay is typed and timed. I believe 1 hour for 3 questions.
