It was the last day to do it, but I OFFICIALLY SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION TO OHSU!!!! ?
Anyone else applying for this cohort?
A little about me: I am an older, non-traditional student, single Mama with 8 and 13 year old boys! I currently hold a BA in Psych. I wanted to apply to the ABSN, however, my Statistics class is over 7 years old, and it was also a C. ? I will just have to retake it, if I end up needing to apply next year. This is also my very first application cycle. ?
I feel like OHSU is definitely my top choice, but I will also be applying to Linfield, and possibly Concordia (only because they have an accelerated program, and seem to offer more start dates.
Going by past interview invitations, it seems like La Grande get their invitations first on the 18th of March, then Monmouth on the 20th and then Ashland on the 21st. And finally Portland.
Does anyone know if we hear anything if we are NOT invited for an interview/accepted???
Initially they won’t tell you if you didn’t get an interview invite - you can call the admissions office and ask. From my understanding, they send the invites out in waves - if someone from the first invite can’t make to the interview or decides not to go they go down the interview waitlist and invite someone else.
After the interview process and acceptances go out they’ll email and let people know they weren’t accepted.
Eeeek! I had an interview for Ashland ABSN last weekend and it was pretty intimidating.

I don’t think they do. They did mention that if you don’t get an invite, you can email them two weeks from now and see what you can do to improve your application. So I’m thinking if two weeks passes, then I probably didn’t get one. Lol
I’m still waiting on Monmouth to send out interview invites. Did anyone on here apply to any of the community colleges? I applied at:

LBCC
Every email is triggering anxiety. Anyone hear news from PCC?
I also applied to PCC and haven’t heard anything . I also am waiting to hear something from the Monmouth campus so if I do I will let you know ASAP! And if you do please let me know ?
