Yes, my first time at OHSU. I work at OHSU currently, so I really understand what their values are here and who they are. Luckily, I must’ve done something right because they accepted me. Must’ve been the essays!

I thought mine went horrible! I almost cried in the car going home. I spoke way too fast, felt like I dragged my topics on, and sometimes I was out of the interviewers office way before the time was up. I forgot to mention relevant stories to some interviewers. I actually thought I had no chance.

Did anyone interview for Monmouth on Tuesday at 8am? Just wanted to see if anyone from my interview group is here.

Next year they are changing the admission process, so try again. Don’t lose hope. I have a 3.9 and I’ve been a CNA 2 for 5 years and I got flat out denied for PCC, and accepted to tier two at 3 different colleges. Yes, PCC was THAT competitive this year. Also, if you can, try applying a bit south of Portland. LBCC, Chemeketa, and OHSU Monmouth are about an hour drive from Portland, and much easier to get accepted.

Denied from PCC ? I moved into phase 2 at OHSU and UCC though. Everyone who got an invite to a PCC should be VERY proud. This year was probably their most competitive year

Did they send you the interview prep packet? They sent me a whole information packet via email with questions you should practice and how to dress and what not to do.

Just received my Monmouth interview email!!
