OHSU BSN PDX program applicants - 2010

Hi,

Anyone else out there getting anxious to hear from OHSU's Portland campus for their BSN program? They said they'll notify in early May which is still a month away, but I just want to know now! It's my first time applying and the only program that I applied to this year, so I'm not counting on it.

Larisa - I know, I thought it was very odd as well. I did say yes to her, but the more I think about it the more I will probably turn down an offer for Ashland if I get accepted. I was accepted into Linfield's fall co-hort and it makes sense for me to stay in Portland. I just wanted to have as many options as possible.

Still waiting . . . I wonder what the odds were this year of getting into the Portland campus. I wrote the best essay I could, but Nutrition, BI232, and BI233 were all in progress when I applied.

No word over here yet either! I know someone said before that they called OHSU and they said they would be mailing them out the week of May 3......anyone call again? Haha well I get my mail EARLY in the morning so you better believe I will let you all know when it comes

Ok so I finally got the nerve to call at 4:43pm.....ofcoorifice the dean leaves at 4:30....so I guess i'll try again tomorrow

So I was out of town and came back last night to find out that my roommate got an email over the weekend saying she was accepted. I'm guessing I didn't get in if I didn't get an email.

That's really strange considering I thought everyone was notified at the same time. Also, pretty strange that she would receive an e-mail over the weekend.

I have now talked to 3 people that got the email. I will call ohsu in the morning but the email said something to the effect of "this is a pre congratulations that you have been accepted to OHSU and you will receive your enrollment package next week as we are still placing students at other campuses." By the way 2 of these people heard back were from Portland and 1 from Monmouth. So if you didn't apply to those campuses you may still have a shot. I am very sad now.

I think lisalizard is right. I have a class with somebody that got email last Thursday for Klamath Falls campus and talked to someone that knows someone that got email over weekend for Portland campus.
