OHSU BSN PDX program applicants - 2010

Published

Hi,

Anyone else out there getting anxious to hear from OHSU's Portland campus for their BSN program? They said they'll notify in early May which is still a month away, but I just want to know now! It's my first time applying and the only program that I applied to this year, so I'm not counting on it.

Good luck to everyone!

:)

I applied to Klamath Falls campus.

I was trying to find out if anyone used last year's stats to pick a campus, and no one replied.

I didnt use the stats. I wish that I could but I am confined to portland because of my family. Good luck to you but it sounds like you did your research so it sounds like you will be fine!

I hope so.

Thank you.

I applied to the Monmouth campus....I really wanted to go with Portland but looking at the ratio of applicants to accepted students I decided to go with Monmouth. Good luck to everyone, May is coming up fast!!! :)

I am also waiting for a reply from the portland program. It is killing me to wait!! I applied to all the ocne programs within 25 miles and haven't heard from any of them. Good luck to you all

I know someone has recieved an interview for Mt hood today! so they are on the way!

Specializes in CNA.

I also applied to the WOU campus! It is in Monmouth, and I'm in Salem... that's how I chose that branch. :)

I'm only able to apply to Portland area schools, but know that really limits my chances. My husband has a great job and we are settled in the area. This will be my second career, but if I were young and single, I'd apply anywhere and everywhere!

Hello, everybody.

My friend and I both received our rejection letters from PCC.

The number of applicants this year was 1005!

Sorry to hear that you weren't accepted, but hope you can hold your head up high as only 10% get in, if I'm doing math right in that they accept 100 out of 1005 applicants. Yikes, that's some tough competition!!! Did PCC give you an option to talk to them about what you can do to better your chances next go around?

Yes, they did.

I pretty much know what the problem was: 3 Bs in my AP classes.

I am planning to make an appt with the adviser there.
