OHSU Ashland & RCC Fall 2014 Applicants

U.S.A. Oregon

Published

Hi Everyone!Thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying to OHSU Ashland or RCC for Fall 2014 entry. Where is everyone at in the process? I just completely finished and submitted my OHSU application. I'm almost done with my RCC application. A little about me:I've been married for almost seven years. We have three kids and I'm 30 years old. I have a bachelors degree from SOU and have all my pre-requisites and co-requisites completed. Just crossing my fingers that this will finally be my turn. I'm so anxious to start my dream career!

Joy, will you clarify tomorrow if we will be having applicant group interviews or not? If possible... :)

Yes. I'll be sure to ask :). I know we are interviewing in groups of three tomorrow.

Awe man I posted my email in the Portland thread on accident. Awkward. Trying again....

Hey Girls!

My email is [email protected]. Feel free to email me for my number. :)

Haha that's awesome. :) and it'd be amazing if you got more info tomorrow. Wouldn't it be funny if it was the 3 of us only in the interview? Haha

Are you guys on Facebook? I guess everyone is these days...

Shanna - Yes. (Christina Joy)

How did mock interviews go, Joy??

JWind - did you get invited to RCC's second phase?

I've been thinking about this "formal dress" and I would take my q from the picture on the mock interview pic. She's wearing business attire (IMO) and I think that a nice suit qualifies for formal. They didn't say black tie which is what I think of when someone says formal. I think you will be fine if you stick to formal business attire (like one of you said you got a suit). Stand proud and good luck!

Where did you find pictures of the mock interviews? I know they took some, but I can't find any posted.

He might mean the pic with the mock interview advertisement you posted?

Yes...that's the one. I know if I was told to wear formal to an interview I would feel real silly showing up in tails.
