OHSU Ashland & RCC Fall 2014 Applicants

Hi Everyone!Thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying to OHSU Ashland or RCC for Fall 2014 entry. Where is everyone at in the process? I just completely finished and submitted my OHSU application. I'm almost done with my RCC application. A little about me:I've been married for almost seven years. We have three kids and I'm 30 years old. I have a bachelors degree from SOU and have all my pre-requisites and co-requisites completed. Just crossing my fingers that this will finally be my turn. I'm so anxious to start my dream career!

Yes...that's the one. I know if I was told to wear formal to an interview I would feel real silly showing up in tails.

Weird. I don't recall posting a picture? I think the "formal " verbiage they used in the email and at the mock interview simply pertained to business attire. Not casual business attire. :)

I posted the announcement for the mock interviews which just had a generic image of someone in a suit, Joy. :) I'm gonna go shopping this week!

What are your thoughts on RCC's program? I've been hearing good things about the bridge they offer to OHSU.

What are your thoughts on RCC's program? I've been hearing good things about the bridge they offer to OHSU.

I've heard great things about RCC. One of the RNs at the facility I did clinicals at just graduated in June and had nothing but positive things to say. She and some of her classmates are completing their BSNs through the OHSU bridge, and it seemed like a seamless transition from what she told me. Plus, there's always the cost difference. RCC is SO much cheaper!! :)

Hands down my first choice. I mean, the staff is extremely competent. That must show how great the program is. Why pay more for the same education really..

I'm not sure if this thread is still active. I just got accepted to RCC and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there that's going to RCC this fall for nursing.

Congrats AbbyVee! I got accepted to OHSU and was put at the number 15 spot on the alternate list at RCC. I'll be headed to OHSU Ashland. Good luck to you:).
