  1. I made a group for those accepted (and attending)! Search for: OHSU School of Nursing - Ashland: BSN, class of 2017
  2. I was under the impression that if you were on the alternate list, they would indicate your likelihood of being accepted (i.e. "highly likely", etc) in the letter. They won't tell you your number on the list, just give you a label...if that makes sense. Anyway, good luck and keep us posted!!
  3. I got my acceptance letter (email) from OHSU Ashland today, too!! We should start a Facebook group for the 3-year BSN program!
  4. My thoughts exactly, Summer.
  5. I've heard great things about RCC. One of the RNs at the facility I did clinicals at just graduated in June and had nothing but positive things to say. She and some of her classmates are completing their BSNs through the OHSU bridge, and it seemed like a seamless transition from what she told me. Plus, there's always the cost difference. RCC is SO much cheaper!! :)
  6. I posted the announcement for the mock interviews which just had a generic image of someone in a suit, Joy. :) I'm gonna go shopping this week!
  7. How did mock interviews go, Joy??
  8. Are you guys on Facebook? I guess everyone is these days...
  9. Joy, will you clarify tomorrow if we will be having applicant group interviews or not? If possible... :)
  10. Ha! I haven't seen those sizes since high school, but thank you for the sweet offer!
  11. Did they say formal dress after you registered, Joy? I hope business casual will be okay for the interview... I can't afford (nor rock) a suit. :/
  12. If I'm asleep by 2am, it's a good day for me. I just can't shut off my brain at night. :/
  13. I was hoping you weren't going to say a suit! My "professional" wardrobe mainly consists of scrubs, so I am limited. Lol. I was thinking pretty much the same: slacks, a dressy top, and a cardigan. Always safe. :)
  14. And I agree about the parenting thing; most of my classmates have been 20 and single and/or childless. They just don't get how hard it is to study with little ones around!! One of my best friends was also a mom of two, my age, and we were at the same point in our pre-requisites when her hubby took a job in Seattle and they moved. Hopefully we can develop that same kind of mom-camaraderie when we all get ACCEPTED!
  15. Is there some way to get notifications when you guys comment on here?? I always feel behind. :) I could be wrong, but I doubt they would confer with RCC to see which applicants applied to both programs. I was kind of thinking (and hoping) along the same lines as Summer's husband - that they ranked us from most likely to least likely for the interview dates. Although, my last name is Kimmons, so the three of us aren't that far apart alphabetically... Hmmph. I have a 3.87 pre-req GPA (why do they calculate minuses but not pluses?!) but not as much completed as you girls. Hopefully my healthcare experience will help me out a little bit. What are you planning to wear to the interview?
