OHSU Ashland & RCC Fall 2014 Applicants

Hi Everyone!Thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying to OHSU Ashland or RCC for Fall 2014 entry. Where is everyone at in the process? I just completely finished and submitted my OHSU application. I'm almost done with my RCC application. A little about me:I've been married for almost seven years. We have three kids and I'm 30 years old. I have a bachelors degree from SOU and have all my pre-requisites and co-requisites completed. Just crossing my fingers that this will finally be my turn. I'm so anxious to start my dream career!

Some people pull it off and it looks great, but I don't wear them well. Glad I'm not going to be the only one :)

I must be old school. I ended up coming home with a suit. Lol. I'm doing a skirt, jacket and heels. The mock interview said formal attire. To think suit, but business/casual would be okay too. I'm just having a hard time dressing my post-pregnancy body. Having those last two so close together has made losing weight so hard. I'm the heaviest I've ever been. Boo!

I'm finding it harder to shut my brain off at night. I lay there in bed rehearsing interview questions over and over. I try to think of things they could ask and how I would answer them. It's seriously cutting into my precious sleep. Ugh. Do either of you do this?

I honestly wish I could wear a suit. It just looks like I'm playing dress up. And considering how exhausted I am but can't sleep at 11:35, I guess I have the same problem. I can't stop thinking about this. I can't wait until June when we know for sure and all the worrying is over!

Did they say formal dress after you registered, Joy? I hope business casual will be okay for the interview... I can't afford (nor rock) a suit. :/

It said as formal as possible. That if we had a suit to wear it, but if not business/casual is fine. I'll let you all know what I see people wearing tomorrow. :)

Shanna - I wouldn't stress it. The only reason I went out and bought something, is I've never been this size in my life and literally had nothing to wear. I have tubs with cute formal business attire that are sizes 4-8 if you girls want to borrow something?

Joy you're very sweet to offer :) I will figure something out. I'm more nervous about the interview questions and how they will be doing this whole thing. I'm not sure what I'm going to write for my questions yet.
