OHSU Acc Bacc/Acc Bacc to DNP 2020 Cohort

Hi everyone. I'm creating this topic for those who have already or are finishing up their NursingCAS applications for the 2020 Cohort for either of the following programs at Oregon Health and Science University: Accelerated Bachelors, 3-year (traditional) Bachelors, or the Acc Bachelors to DNP/PhD. Hope everyone is doing well! Deadline is January 6, 2020 for some of these programs.

Thank you. I got into a program that’s only two years and ranked really high in the country for psych. I’m also not sure I want to live in Portland for four years (I’m from out of state) and want to start working sooner. It’s been a hard decision for me to make

Congratulations and goodluck on your next step. I'm also interested in pych, what course did you apply to and where, is the admission still rolling?

The accelerated BSN to DNP. To my knowledge they are no longer accepting to this specialty this year. You can check the OHSU nursing website Or contact admissions for more information.

thanks futurenurseis it was a hard decision because I loved the faculty at OHSU and it seems like there’s some incredible opportunities there.

I am awaiting the admissions decisions for absn. Has anyone that interviewed Feb 27&28 heard back yet today?

I was put on the waitlist. Called and was told I would be notified if any of the people accepted didn't take their spot.
