OHSU ABSN 2022

Hi, I wanted to open this topic for anyone that applied to OHSU's ABSN or ABSN-DNP 2022 programs!

I was just waitlisted for the PNP program. Feeling pretty defeated. Does anyone know when people who were waitlisted will hear back?

Ugh sorry to hear that. Did they give you an alternate number? Im sure my email is coming anytime now.

No they didn’t and specifically said they won’t tell me where on the alternate list I am

They didn’t finish interviews until 2/18. I was told early March. My guess is either this Friday or next Monday.

Weird.. did you apply to the traditional ABSN too? They start in the Summer.. usually you have like what 2 weeks to put down a deposit? Im sure if people reject the offer they will start selecting those off the alternate list. Ofc im just guessing

Thank you so much for letting me know.  Apparently my application fell through the cracks at a different school I applied to (I'm heartbroken and furious!), so now I am terrified that the same might happen at OHSU.  I just wanted to make sure that I am not the only one that hasn't heard back!

Dang! So sorry to hear that! That’s very nerve wracking. I feel like OHSU is pretty on top of the organization and such with applications.
 

And you’re welcome. I only applied to the FNP Fall 2022 start, but I believe ABSN - DNP get notified at the same time. I’d say they are pretty good about notifying within 2-3 weeks, once all interviews have been completed.

I got an email that I was accepted to the ABSN-FNP DNP program earlier today! Hopefully you guys got some good news today as well!

Congratulations!! Can I ask you, what do you feel made you stand out in your interview process? Any tips?  I am getting ready for my ABSN interview and so nervous.

ABSN interview? The interview was only essays, unless you’re talking about another program?

Oh, I am talking about OHSU’s ABSN program, there are interviews for that program.

I totally forgot Ashland is having traditional interviews! I thought I was missing something for Portland ? Good luck on your interview!! I’m sure you’ll do great ❤️
