Community Health...who has taken or wil be taking?

Thought I would start a new thread on my next class coming up. I know Delta...you have already taken this class, and have commented elsewhere about some of the requirements.

Any words of wisdom you and others can share whould be appreciated.

I will be taking it next quarter too.

I took it. It wasn't my favorite class. There are no actual clinicals required, but you do have to do a drive around town and tell what you see. You can count on an assignment, DB with 2 responses, and a quiz every week. The first week's assignment took me about eight hours because of all of the amount of resources (links) required.

I'm there with the rest of you. LOL - drive around town and look at resources!! Well, let me see ... we have a church and a convenience store. Not kidding. Town of about 400 people.

I can see the light...I just have to get through 3 more classes.

i took it.. ya you have to "drive" around town and see resources, if your town is small you can always expand.. you also have to look at statistics etc of your population..

LOL ... have you ever been to "Downeast" Maine?? Bahahahahahah. Guess I could drive 3 hours one way and use Portland!!
