I know a few of you are in the process of starting OU's FNP program. What can you guys tell me about the admission process? The website is unclear (surprise surprise). I've been trying to figure out where I want to go now that I have my BSN. I've only been working for just over a year so part of me wants to just get my experience in, however, I want to know what requirements I will need when I do choose to further my education (that's a when not an if). GRE? personal reccommendations? what exactly do i need to prepare for? Thanks everyone!

healthstar- you remind me of me (i graduated dec 2010). I HAVE TERRIBLE test anxiety and I freeze over EVERYTHING mind goes blank, palms start to sweat etc. I was able to answer questions without being in the testing situation just fine. it was a matter of anxiety for me. The only thing that helped me was seeing a counselor who taught me biofeedback, and gave me a deep breathing relaxation cd. Basically the cd (which i am sure you could find something similar on line) was a recording that helped me control my breathing and calm my mind. This helped TREMENDOUSLY, i did it before studying and then before my NCLEX. The deep breathing is soemthign you need to practice in order for it to work. you basically calm your mind and focus on the physical presence. Good luck! I reccommend you try it.

i dont spend long, maybe 5 hours a week? idk, this class is not intense. just boring for me. the assignments are not difficult the only resource you need is your book

ugh my TA is MISERABLE!! i dislike dislike dislike this class A LOT... such a pain in my A**

These memos are rough. And that response I'm not sure what to make of it. Hopefully my quizzes will keep my grade high enough for this class to be a gpa booster. I'm def bored with this class

ya i have to do my journal and memo today.. im not happy with my memo grade either from last week, i wish i had a better memo example to go off of. i also retake quizzes til i get a 5!!

im currently taking it with prof p i think my motivation is at an all time low because its eh for me

out of pocket so i can pay my loans off... it's really adding up and it's rough

have you downloaded one? if so which one? my biggest limitation was that things dont load from epic, such as quizzes some DBs etc
