Hey! I was hoping to start a thread consisting of summer 2017 applicants to Ohio State's Graduate Entry program. I just finalized my application and submitted last Friday! Well before the deadline in October so I'm hoping that helps. I guess you can say I'm an overly proactive type of person lol. Blessing and a curse. But I've completed all pre-reqs except Microbiology..... which I'm in right now until December. My GPA isn't strong at all 3.2. I'll be taking the GRE in September so I'm pretty much dedicating a lot of my time to studying for that...
Anyways, I hope to meet more people who applied/will apply this year for next summer :)
there was one question that I should have went into more detail about now that I think about it & I didn't smile I was so nervous. I won der if that matters. I have beeen driving myself crazy replaying it in my head with what I said & should have said.
I was so nervous/stressed during it that I just completely messed up the first (probably the easiest) question. I did better on the other 3, but I wish it was in person I would have done much better! The time is what got me.
I am sure you all did just fine!!!! I know that I could have elaborated more on most of my answers and said different things, but I tried to speak confidently when giving my answers regardless!! Now I just hope they don't make us wait very long to find out if we are accepted or not!!!!
So I just looked on my app status and under "application requirements" at the very bottom, it lists "Community Enrollment Question" as a requirement and says the contact is the University Community Enrollment Review Committee, and the requirement is listed as completed. Do you think this would just be an acknowledgement that they received the interviews maybe?
I just checked mine and have that too. Maybe the interview is what it means? It shows it as being "complete" yesterday. Either way I'm still so nervous!
I did mine on Sunday. I also forgot to repeat the questions and was so nervous that I thought it reflected poorly on me. I felt tongue-tied and I fumbled my words.
Erin-I felt the same way! If only we could have spent 5 minutes with a real person :/ Hopefully it all turns out well!! I'm sure we did better than we think we did. I contacted admissions to calm my racing mind over the questions not being repeated and they said it was fine and it would not affect the scoring thank goodness!
Thanks Katosu. I just checked mine and there isn't anything in there about community anything in my application status. It just says pending. Naturally I think that means I have been eliminated.
Hi guys! I just found this thread. I applied to the pediatric NP program and I am glad that I am not the only anxious one waiting on a decision :) good luck to everyone!
