  1. Accepted for MDE!! Does anyone know the likelihood of applying for DNP within the program and getting a denial? Congrats everyone!
  2. Hey! What have you heard about the program? Do you like the campus overall?
  3. I sent you a PM Moroccan!
  4. For the Facebook page I had no idea what I was doing to be honest haha, I should have made a group but if you can think of a better format feel free to make one!! :) As for my stats, I am a senior at OSU. Human nutrition major, ~3.3 GPA. Prereqs I had all As and Bs. I am an STNA and worked in assisted living for about 8 months previously and did shadowing in a few hospitals and outpatient centers with NPs in my area of interest (WHNP) and I volunteer for a few organizations. For the statement, I would have to say make it personal to yourself and your experiences. If you have anything you've experienced in your life to come to this career decision make that clear. I just made mine as personal and honest as possible. But I will say from going to the overview sessions, they love to see that you have shadowed someone to see what their job roles are. Along with that, research the job and what you can do with it--they want to make sure your goals align in the program! Good luck!! :)
  5. Okay I have no idea why it isn't working lol, so try this link: The Ohio State University Graduate-Entry Nursing 2
  6. Okay so I made one, I've never made a page before but I think I figured it out lol. Just search: The Ohio State Univeristy Grad-Entry Nursing 2017
  7. Okay I'll do that right now!
  8. Would anyone be interested in joining a Facebook page?
  9. Every time I pull it up and it says pending I get more nervous! Congrats to everyone on your acceptances!! That's so exciting!
  10. Haha omg that's funny! I'm the same way on these sites. Good luck though with all of the schools you applied to!! :) And with making it through spring semester lol.
  11. MGatOSU--I also got accepted to Case!
  12. Have you considered applying to other similar programs? Case Western accepts applications until April and it is the same style program except you do not have to choose a speciality upon application, you get to choose further into the program. It's 3.5 years in length, though more expensive than others. Also, UC accepts apps until Feb. 1st I believe. Unless you are rooted in Columbus, there is Capital for ABSN and Mount Carmel ABSN.
  13. Checking every hour it seems..I applied for Women's Health and still pending. Anyone else apply for WHNP or CNM? I believe the same faculty members review those applications.
  14. I would call the CON because I don't quite understand that either. Mine still says pending but if that happens I will definitely call. I'm not sure when you're supposed to get that follow-up email but I feel like if your application was to get bumped from consideration they should have contacted you previously?
