Hi everyone!
I thought I would start a thread for everyone that is applying to the FNP traditional masters program for 2017! I have heard from many that the wait is anxious and long. I also just talked to a lady at the graduate college of nursing and she stated that this year everyone will be receiving an interview as it will be part of now the general application process. I was told by my friends that got admitted last year that getting an offer to interview was stating that you were competitive enough, but it seems this year it is now standard. I am super anxious! I applied to the online FNP, does anyone have any idea how many students they admit for the online program? My GPA is at 3.1, I have four years of RN experience, and I feel strongly about my letter of intent and my recommendations. The lady I spoke to today said that they have let in some with a GPA as low as mine but she also said it was their statement and recommendations that pulled them through. I'm hoping I get pulled through!! But I honestly have doubts. What does everyone else's credentials look like? What have you heard about the admission process this year? I would love to hear from other candidates, and wish everyone the best of luck!! Hopefully a good start to a new year for all of us!
Hi! I have been following this feed for awhile, I too am anxiously awaiting a decision! I applied to the traditional Peds NP. When I try to log in now, it says "not a valid time," anyone else get that message today? I called tech support, and they suggested using a different browser, but that didn't help. They forwarded me to the graduate college to ask them if they knew what was going on with the site. Well, they said they are not sure... and that traditional applicants decisions haven't been posted (which I was very aware of lol) and then they said "yeah you have still got some time, about a week or so, by May 1st." I know they keep saying May 1st but I really thought we would be hearing beforehand.. ahh! I just want to know

Site is back up for me. And I'm assuming the status would change first.
