Official nursing student fall 2011 stand up!!!

I am so excited about starting the nursing program and thought it would be fun to see who else is excited!! Tell everyone what school you will be attending, what was your GPA, and TEAS score. Fall 2011 RRRRROOOOLLLLLL CCCCAAAALLLL:yeah::yeah::yeah:

I will be attending GPC, my GPA was 3.8, and my TEAS V score was 82%!

Starting Fall 2011 at University of Memphis! *GO TIGERS!*

I had an overall GPA of 3.36 (just checked it officially) with a science GPA of 3.66. My TEAS score was an 87%. My school takes into account overall GPA, science GPA and TEAS score.

I am going to CCC and have a 3.89 gpa (stupid one B, lol) and my TEAS was above the national average. I have orientation and registration this month and start classes on the 22nd of August. Good luck everybody!

Uniforms were ordered through the school and HAD to be ordered before 6/30

Thanks because I was just about to order my Littman. Also, thanks for the info about Amazon. I will try those shoes once school start because I already have a pair of shoes but these sound comfy.

Im soooooo excited! I'll b attending LAHC in california on Aug. 29 and lets just say my gpa and teas score were good enough to get accepted :) good luck to all!

I start august 31 at Indiana University!! Still in the middle of ordering all my stuff!! exciting!!! I had a 3.9 & no test for us! We had an interview & essay but they are changing that this year.. all pre nursing now has to take the teas. Lucky me! :w00t:

Congrats, I can not say that I would rather have a interview than the test,lol. Glad you made it.

I start at Thomas Nelson CC Aug 22nd. My GPA is 3.7 and I scored an 81 on the TEAS. I really only studied the math and science portions though. I wish I had studied the reading section a little because some of the things they asked about, I didn't know what they meant. I think I rushed it too because I am a really good reader. I suggest to anyone who is taking the test to prepare thoroughly and don't underestimate any of the sections you will be tested on.

I have all my gear...uniforms, shoes, stethoscope, etc. I am already using some of my stuff because I am volunteering in the ER now in preparation for school. I figure I have people to ask for help if I don't understand something and a good job reference when I am out looking. I am extremely excited as I have waited for this a LONG, LONG time, and while I have a few nerves, I feel confident I will make it because I am willing to do anything I have to do to be successful.

Keep the faith, people. We are going to be fine!

:ancong!: to all including me. I start school in mid August, GPA 3.69 and TEAS 87. I perfer not to name my school since I think some of the instructors roam this site(not that I would put anything crazy in here)! I am feeling all kinds of emotions as I am sure all of you are, even though I have been in the healthcare field for 4-5 years. Good Luck!!!

I'm definitely excited to be starting my nursing program on August 15th at Lincoln University Missouri. My GPA is 3.20 and my PAX score was 105! (we don't take the TEAS)

Congrats and you are so right. Because I also underestimated that reading section.... But hey we made it now!
